Every vault on Planet Finance currently has a multiplier assigned to it. A multiplier typically will be a number between 0.1x and 50x. The multiplier assigned to each vault, dictates the amount of AQUA that’s flowing to that vault from the 500 AQUA created each day by the protocol.
These multipliers are adjustable and enable the protocol to be able to shift them to attract capital and create aligned incentives for AQUA holders.
Here’s the rules we’ll be following when updating vault multipliers:
1. All new pools will start with a 1x multiplier initially.
2. After 2 weeks if the TVL is below $500k we’ll change it to 0.5x.
3. If a vault gets to $3m TVL we increase to 1.5x
4. Once voting is live, the community will be able to propose multipliers for specific vaults and everyone can vote on that.
